Bon Voyage

Bon Voyage! And welcome to Postcards From Bisi!

I know what you are thinking, Yes! The name of my blog is just a spin on the Arthur special, Postcards from Buster.

It is but it is so much more than that.

When postcards first started in the 1800s, they were defined as a card for transmitting a message that can be mailed without an envelope.  Today we know postcards as the card you send when you are traveling to communicate short details of your trip to your loved ones back home.

On Postcards from Bisi I hope to be able to combine both the antiquated and modern meanings of a postcard. I not only want to share details of the various trips I take around the world but I also want to use this space to communicate other details of my life, like the books I am reading, my hobbies, ideas and thoughts I have on various topics.

I hope you are able to join me on this journey of self-discovery!

Thanks for reading!

Wish you were here,
